About the job as a Security Technician / Installer

Are you a curious technician who wants to develop your interest in tailored security solutions? Then you might be the one we are looking for. As a security technician, you will be part of a team consisting of designers, project managers, supervisors, and installation and service technicians. Together, you will work on the installation and service of our alarm, access, and CCTV systems for various customer needs. You will be responsible for varied maintenance and service work and maintain contact with customers. As an ambassador for Avarn Security, you will perform each assignment with professional pride and high demands on quality and safety. Some on-call work may be included in the position.

Workplace: Gothenburg

Working hours: Mon-Fri 07:00–16:00

Duration: Full-time, permanent. A 6-month probationary period may apply.

Start date: As soon as possible, by agreement.

The role requires that you:

• Have good experience in the security industry
• Have broad product knowledge and have worked for at least two (2) years as a security technician or installer, or service technician within integrated systems, burglary alarms, access systems.
• Are accustomed to commissioning and programming complex security systems.
• Are a team player who is meticulous, quality-conscious, and can work independently
• Are service-oriented, solution-focused, and customer-centric
• Have the willingness to actively participate in improvement work for continuous quality development
• Have a valid driver's license B
• Are a Swedish citizen.

It is highly meritorious if you are a certified engineer in alarms or CCTV and have experience with integrated systems such as Unison, Arx/Alarm, RCO/MEGA.

Avarn Security Systems is the unit that delivers tailored technical security solutions to our customers. Systems are nationwide with several offices and security stores across the country. We offer everything within fire alarms, CCTV, door automation, locks, alarms, access, and burglary alarms. With all certifications in locks and alarms, we ensure very high quality in our technical security installations.

Recruitment process

To be employed, you need to be approved in a security review with checks in the police and county administrative board registers. The position may involve work covered by defense secrecy and therefore requires Swedish citizenship.
